Overview

eLearning is a popular area for using on-line web sessions or webinars. A major reason for this is certainly the independence of location for the participants. The trainer could run such sessions with partipants located in different cities or even countries from a central point.

Not only can e.g. a language teacher train pronounciation of words and discuss with one or more participants but also show documents and write on the Whiteboard interactively. Some large European supported project like the Lancelot project is focusing on using Internet and web meetings for language training.
