Technology conceptsMost modern web meeting technologies are based on Flash in order to make the conferencing facilities independent of the the platform (Windows, Linux, Mac) used for the web meeting. Some web meeting service providers require a download of software prior to setting up or using the meeting service. Should the Flash player not be installed on aour system you can download it for free from Adobe Systems. A standard Internet connection is used for the connection of the web meeting participants. Depending on the use of web cams and audio there are certain requirements related to the connection characteristics - see article called Considerations in menu above. |
